Home Based QuickSELLit Franchise Being Developed

4/30/2007

1,300,000 sellers across the planet are making money selling on eBay. The vast majority of them are selling from their homes. There are so many economies of scale for home based eBay sellers that it just makes sense for them. It also make dollars! QuickSELLit announced today that it is developing a home based franchise model for their organization. President Derek Zimmer said, "We are and have been the most competitive eBay franchise out there. We see the home based model as a way for use to make us even more competitive by eliminating most of the expenses that are plaguing eBay franchises today."

Zimmer went on to point out that the home based model does not have the high rent and utilities that their retail counterparts have. He estimated their expenses in the home based franchise to be half (or less) of the traditional retail location. "We will be able to charge even less commission and make more profit simply by cutting out the landlord and utility companies," Zimmer added

NCIS Contact Alanson Store About Stolen Items

3/10/2007

Jim said you mentioned on the conference call about how eBay is cracking down on people selling stolen items and at the same time as the conference call I was on the phone with an NCIS/JAG officer with regard to stolen government property that was sold on ebay...nothing to do with our store! But last year when we opened up our dental office in Alanson we bought a lot of small dental equipment on eBay. Low and behold some of it was stolen government property. NCIS has been investigating this for over a year, they have the guy in the brig (he went AWOL to JAPAN) and they know he made over $365,000.00 selling on eBay. This equates to over 1 million dollars in stolen government property!

He got greedy and that is how he got caught. Needless to say NCIS has contacted the people who purchased the items he sold and they are being turned in as evidence.

A JAG officer is coming out to the office tomorrow to pick up the items and take our Paypal documentation for payment of the items to him. It's quite the process I have been going through the last few days. I am now going to be on the witness list for the governement since I know dental equipment and know eBay. Did you know that NCIS had officers working at ebay? They do for this particular reason.

I met with the JAG officer today and turned over the "evidence" and paperwork [I] may have to testify in the future. I will keep you informed. It was quite the scheme the guy had going. He was dumber than a box of rocks. He used some of the government computers to list things on eBay.

New Public Web Site Launched

10/28/2006

QuickSELLit launched it's new public website. Jason Zimmer, QuickSELLit's Chief Technology Officer said, "We wanted a design that specifically serves our retail Customers and this is it." Based on an in-house study of industry web sites QuickSELLit determined that well over half of the web site home page is dedicated to things other than serving their Customers. "Many companies take a large part of their home page and use it for what I call ego purposes which have nothing to do with serving their retail Customer not to mention their Franchise Owners," Jason Zimmer added.

With great new additions to QuickSELLit's home page like 'FREE appraisals' and 'FREE pick-up' the QuickSELLit technology team expects traffic to the web site and to their retail stores to jump. Derek Zimmer, President of QuickSELLit said, "We have made a significant six figure investment into our new web site. Our site is not only 2 generations beyond our competition but it is the first of its kind to target the retail Customer."

Franchise Owners have already been signing it's praises. QuickSELLit developed this new web site with the help and input of its Franchise Owners so, of course, they were pleased with the final product.

He is committed to the people in our organization succeeding first then the company will follow," Zimmer added.

Mr. Tindall's resume includes marketing for the U.S. Government, major insurance companies, as well as being signed by the Chicago Cubs. "That was many years ago but I played with them for some years and we won some titles. That was a lot of fun," said Tindall. About taking on his newest challenge, "I am looking forward to it.
